About 2,000 single-game tickets for each Penguins home date for the first season at Consol Energy Center will go on sale at 10 a.m. next Friday.

The tickets are available because the team cut off its per-game season ticket sales at 15,000 and set aside others for its student rush program. The new arena holds 18,087 for hockey.

Tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.com, 1-800-745-3000 at Ticketmaster locations and at the CEC box office.
