Enrollment up by 5 percent at CCAC

Fall head count enrollment at the Community College of Allegheny County is up by 5 percent to 20,459 students, an increase of about 1,000 students from a year ago, administrators said Thursday.

The figures were released during a meeting of CCAC trustees on the North Side campus. The school's for-credit enrollment for both semesters is about 30,000, college officials said.
